Dr. Putnick received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and then attended Albany Medical College to obtain her Doctor of Medicine. She went on to an internship in Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston with the Harvard Medical system. She also trained in Hofstra Northwell Staten Island University Hospital and the Broward Health system in Fort Lauderdale, Florida which includes a Level One trauma center and robotic surgery education.
She completed an Advanced Gastrointestinal, Bariatric, and Minimally Invasive surgery fellowship in Cleveland Clinic Weston where she received further specialized training and cared for patients with foregut disorders. She was a member of the South Florida Surgical Society while in the region and has moved to central Florida with her husband to establish a practice.
Dr. Putnick is a board qualified general surgeon with special interest in foregut surgery including anti-reflux procedures and hiatal and paraesophageal hernias. She performs a variety of general surgical operations including mass excisions, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and hernia repair.
